Write a reviewIn the late 1980s, the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship was conceived by a group of people interested in preserving Canadian Traditional Fiddling, and giving recognition to the excellent fiddlers found across Canada The Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association is run by a group of all volunteers, which includes, the Board of Directors, Committee Directors and Steering Committee Members The Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association hosts its annual Canadian Grand Masters Competition at the end of August in Ottawa where approximately 30 of the best fiddlers from all across Canada compete for the title of Canadian Grand Master In 2008 the name was changed to the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association
