Both Durham Regional Transit and Go Transit busses stop in front of the club on Dundas Street East.Durham Shorin Ryu Karate teaches Shorin Mastubyashi Ryu karate-do, which was developed in Okinawa, Japan by Shoshin Nagamine. We focus on the art of karate-do emphasizing kata (forms), traditional weapons training (kobudo), self-defense, basics, character development, sparring and physical fitness.We welcome families and students from six years old and up. We will consider students as young as five if the child has good focusing skills.We are your source for traditional Shorin Ryu karate in Whitby, Ontario.
