Serbian Cultural Association OPLENAC from Mississauga and Metropolitan of Toronto( Canada) was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization with the mission to introduce Serbian Culture and tradition to Canadian multicultural society . Today Oplenac is recognized by its high caliber folk dance ensembles and rich programs which include some of the most beautiful Serbian folk dance choreographies. SCA Oplenac Orchestra, Choir and Serbian language school programs are also designed to contribute to the process of preservation and presentation of Serbian culture and tradition as part of the Canadian multicultural society . All cultural sections and schools within vibrant Oplenac environment are led by highly professional staff . Being a non-profit organization in all aspects of its organizational existence SCA Oplenac is supported by the work of volunteers. .
