"It's a place where generations of families have bought
Christmas trees for years."

Welcome to Windrift Christmas Tree Farm
and the magical Windrift Wonderland!
Windrift is a fun, fabulous place to take your family and get a Christmas tree, where a portion of the proceeds goes in support of The Rainbow Society!" The big candy cane sign about four km east of Tyndall ( "at Candy Cane Corner"), turned left, travelled another five km north and turned left again into perhaps the best Christmas tree "choose and cut" destination there is in Manitoba: Windrift Christmas Tree Farm! And by the way, we also have pre-cut trees waiting inside in the warm, gigantic chalet for you to choose from, including

  • balsam
  • Fraser
  • White pine
  • Canaan
  • Korean Fir

Owned and operated by the Gauthier family (Big Guy variety), the farm opens
Nov 26 through Dec 18 this year, Saturday through Sunday (9am to 5pm),Offerring tons of Christmas fun (beyond getting a tree) to partake of.
Saturdays and Sundays, for example, we're taking free hay/sleigh rides and hot chocolate, with hotdogs/hamburgers available. And, of course, the big chalet, beautifully decorated with everything Christmas. It includes a big open fireplace surrounded by comfy couches on which to sit and toast your toes.

Lots of outdoor firepits to warm up by as well.

Jim Gauthier

makes a point of being home through December each year,

"Just to spend lots of time at the farm, taking the kids for rides, visiting with guests and totally enjoying the fun and festivities we have there each year."

Indoor displays include a nativity scene, Santa's work shop area, and so much more.

Windrift is a great family destination. The man/elf to see about a tree is Jim & Jason's brother-in-law Brian Colbert, who tends the "crop" year round.

The cut-your-own tree, start at just $18.95.Cash or cheque only,

Any questions call 1 204 771-1921.

Brian's wife Evelyn is the lovely lady who doles out the hot chocolate, handles the till and generally keeps the place humming.

For anyone who enjoys old fashioned Christmas fun the way it used to be, Windrift Farm is the place to get that tree, while helping out The Rainbow Society at the time.
