The big candy cane sign about four km east of Tyndall ( "at Candy Cane Corner"), turned left, travelled another five km north and turned left again into perhaps the best Christmas tree "choose and cut" destination there is in Manitoba: Windrift Christmas Tree Farm! And by the way, we also have pre-cut trees waiting inside in the warm, gigantic chalet for you to choose from,including

Owned and operated by the Gauthier family (Big Guy variety), the farm opens
Nov 26 through Dec 18 this year, Saturday through Sunday (9am to 5pm),Offerring tons of Christmas fun (beyond getting a tree) to partake of.
Saturdays and Sundays, for example, we're taking free hay/sleigh rides and hot chocolate, with hotdogs/hamburgers available.And, of course, the big chalet, beautifully decorated with everything Christmas. It includes a big open fireplace surrounded by comfy couches on which to sit and toast your toes.
Lots of outdoor firepits to warm up by as well.

Indoor displays include a nativity scene, Santa's work shop area, and so much more.
