Roof Maintenance

Your home is one of the largest investments you’ll ever make. Regular maintenance ensures that your roof will stand the test of time and protect your home and family for years to come.

Wind and rain are a roof’s worst enemies: Keep your roof at its best with annual inspections and regular maintenance. We recommend that a qualified professional check your roof every spring.

Our Roof Maintenance & Repair Division can:

  • Remove any debris.

  • Check for winter damage.

  • Verify that the flashings and ventilation are watertight.

  • Assess shingle life and conditions.

  • Provide you with recommended solutions.

Inspections take 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size of your roof. Contact us today for more information on roof maintenance or to schedule an estimate.

Roof Repairs

Roofing leaks can be a frustrating experience. Left unattended, a small leak can cause extensive and expensive damage.  While roof maintenance can help prevent large repairs, sometimes the unexpected happens and a repair is needed.
Roof repairs don’t scare us. During extreme weather we can provide you with a temporary solution to keep you dry.  We’ll return when the permits to complete a permanent repair. For more information, contact our Roof Maintenance & Repair Division at  613-424-6543 or at .

Roof Replacement

While regular maintenance will extend the life of your roof, replacement is a normal part of a roof’s lifecycle, and it doesn’t need to be a stressful experience.

The Weekend Roofer’s knowledgeable staff will provide you with a free estimate, help you select the right shingles for your roof and budget, and install your new roof over the weekend.  (Most roofs take one to three days, but more complex roofs can take up to a week. We’ll review that with you during your estimate.)

Our commitment to cleanliness and safety includes sweeping your yard for stray nails, and removing any debris created by our work. While we’re at it, we’ll clean your gutters.  The only thing we’ll leave behind is your new roof.

Winter Care

Proper winter care can help protect your roof from ice and snow damage. Excess snow weight can damage your roof, gutters and downspouts, and block the air flow of your home’s ventilation system.
Ice dams, formed when heavy snow melts during the day and freezes at night, can lift shingles, enter the attic and cause damage to insulation, ceilings, and even your home’s structure.

The Weekend Roofer’s Winter Care service helps prevent damage caused by heavy snow and ice dams.

Our Winter Care service includes:

      • Careful removal of the bulk of the snow, with roof rakes and snow shovels.

      • Uncovering the upper vents to ensure proper ventialtion.

      • Chiping and channelling ice dams, to ensure future water flow is allowed.

      • Applying if agreed, Nitrogen fertilizer above the Roof dams, to melt some of the ice - to get the water flowing.

      • Clearing the sidewalks, steps, or driveways of any snow, that came from the roof during the Roof top snow removal.

Home owners must be readily availible during Winter Care service, to address any concerns our staff may have.
