Specialized in Astanga Yoga including Yogic Breathing & Meditation techniques. My approach to this ancient wisdom is scientific and Metaphysical. Electronics Engineer by profession, I work at University of Victoria.
Often I am asked what helps me most in my Yoga instruction, my reply is "my engineering studies". It is likely that such training stimulates the intelligence, which gives me ability to transmit teachings with clarity and precision.
I do my best to communicate this greatest knowledge with great respect for the subject and the student.

Asanas or postures, relaxation, breathing and meditation techniques to obtain control over one's physical and mental being.
Health occurs when the body is in harmony with the mind. This was realized thousands of years ago by the ancient Indian yogis. YogaAsanas (poses) accelerate blood circulation in the body and Pranayama (breathing exercises) abates carbon dioxide content ensuring sound health.
Pranayama is practised not just to increase the oxygen supply, but the main source of life 'PRANA' is increased in the body. When the PRANA is increased the toxins are eliminated in the body and mind.
Increase in PRANA (life source) and decrease in AAMA (toxins)is the secret of health .
Dhynana (meditation) helps in calming and controlling the mind. Yoga provides benefits to all aspects of one’s life.
Improper practice of Yoga can harm instead of help – an experienced teacher is very important to ensure optimal benefits.

All sessions are approximately 90 minutes.
