Traffic Signal Maintenance System - teamEpro Asset Management
Aegis ITS is proud to offer agencies some of the best traffic signal maintenance and repair services in the industry. One aspect of our project approach that sets us apart from other traffic signal maintenance contractors is our maintenance management system, teamEpro. TeamEpro is designed specifically for our traffic signal maintenance staff to monitor and control assets in the field and provide the information to management via a Graphical User Interface (GUI) through a secure web browser. Our technicians use a web-enabled device to gather and input traffic signal system information in the field and that information in turn is made available to the agency. This alleviates the use of paperwork for the preventative maintenance task as this information is made available to the agency in real-time and online.
Aegis ITS first collects the data needed, and then develops and maintains a database of major assets at each location that can be updated by our employees utilizing teamEpro.
Aegis ITS will establish the database of equipment in the field by first creating an inventory of all locations for major assets (as determined by Aegis ITS and the agency), bar coding these items, and building the initial database. The major asset inventory process will be completed in real-time, and the updates can be seen by the agency’s designated personnel as they occur via the graphical user interface. As an additional benefit, bar coding all spare equipment on vehicles and in warehouses will make swapped equipment easily tracked and identified. Competent Personnel
Aegis ITS is proud to offer agencies a team with some of the most talented personnel in the traffic signal industry. Our team members have come from many backgrounds including original equipment manufacturers, traffic signal maintenance companies, and underground utility construction companies. Our staff includes International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certified traffic signal inspectors and Levels I, II, and III technicians. The staff assigned to agency contracts are certified as general electricians by the State of California Division of Apprenticeship Standards and are trained in the use of Econolite equipment. Preventative Maintenance
With many years of experience in the traffic signal maintenance industry, we've streamlined the preventative maintenance task to minimize extraordinary work resulting in less cost to the agency. In the unlikely event that extraordinary work is needed, we are pleased to offer 24-hour response, seven days a week. Our technicians are available and ready for any traffic signal maintenance and repair issue that may arise; we do this quickly, efficiently and safely. Resources
In addition, all necessary resources will be made available to Aegis ITS personnel, including fully equipped vehicles with new and spare parts. Should the Aegis staff encounter any problems with an agency’s traffic signal equipment, the Aegis repair lab is available for them to test and repair equipment. We also have a full-stocked warehouse where our technicians can swap equipment as needed. Through these and other techniques, the agency will receive a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
