Immigration regulations in general

SWISS recommends to check with your tour operator or the embassy or consulate of your destination for accepted identification documents and visa requirements. Please also check whether your visa is compliant with the intended duration of your stay and which import or customs rules may apply if you are bringing along. Many countries require a special travel permit from the parents or the parent who is not coming along.

Free baggage allowance

Miles & More members with the status Frequent Traveller or higher, Star Alliance Gold members and SWISS Golf Travellers can enjoy the benefits of an increased baggage allowance on all flights. The number of items of baggage, and in some cases the weight limit, may be higher on some routes for SWISS Economy passengers. The baggage rules for tickets issued on or after August 1st 2011 have been revised and simplified.
