Block Converters

Frequency Block Converters, C- or Ku-Band Block Up converters, C- or Ku-Band Block Down Converters, Variable Gain C- or Ku-Band block converters, Fixed Gain C- or KU-Band Block Converters, Outdoor, Rack Mounted.

Frequency block-converters are sub-systems used for translating (upconverting) block frequencies from L-band to SHF ( C- X- KU- DBS- bands) or translating (downconverting) from SHF to L-Band.

All units feature good phase noise, amplitude linearity and low spurious in band as well as out of band. High stability 0.01ppm internal reference oscillator is used as internal reference source.

As in all Sotca Inc. products achiving the economy price by using innovative technical solutions without compromizing the quality of our products is an ultimate goal.

STC 300 Series C- Ku-Band Fixed Gain Block Converters

STC 300 Series Block converters are indoor, 1U rack mounted units, with custom fixed gain set at the factory. Each unit may be configured to include one or two different converter's modules. High stability internal reference oscillator and high quality low noise power supply are standard features for these converters. Propriatory in-house designed and build filtering components assure spurious free spectrum in band as well as out of band.

STC 310 Series C- Ku-Band Variable Gain Block Converters

STC 310 Series Block converters are indoor, 1U rack mounted units, with variable gain, local and remote M&C interface via RS232/485 and optionaly Etherenet, redundant capabilities. Each unit may be configured to include one or two different or identical converter's modules.High stability internal reference oscillator and high quality low noise power supply are standard features for these converters. In band very low spurious (-70 dBm max) and -60dBc max out of band make these units a good fit for all applications where flexibility and high performance are a must.

STC 400, 410 Series Fixed Gain Outdoor Block Converters

The 400, 410 series high-grade, small, light and economically priced frequency block converters had been made for outdoor applications to be mounted close to HPA. They are compatible with wide range of modems with L-Band output and Sotca Inc. STC 8360 IF to L-Band Upconverters.
