Innovative Teaching and Learning Centre (ITLC)

The ITLC is a unit of the College of Engineering, established to facilitate the development and delivery of course materials using innovative teaching and learning techniques (multimedia, computer mediated, broadcast, Web-based, etc.).

Multimedia carts are booked by ITLC and shall be booked atleast 24 hrs in advance to ensure the availablity and usability.

ITLC lends out Lapotps, Digital and Video Cameras, Wireless Microphones, Standalone multimedia projectors to College of Engineering Faculty, Staff and Students. Bookings can be made via our online booking system.

The mission of the ITLC is…

  • To improve access to, and successful completion of, Engineering programs,
  • To improve the effectiveness of Engineering course materials and delivery methods, and
  • To increase efficiency associated with Engineering programs,

…by assisting faculty/students to utilize innovative teaching and learning techniques.


The ITLC belongs to a number of communities: The College of Engineering; the University of Saskatchewan and other post-secondary institutions; and the province including the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, Saskatchewan industry and the public. There are opportunities and commitments that come with being a part of these communities.

8:30 - 4:30 (Weekdays)
12:00 - 1:00 (Lunch Break)
