There are many good churches in our area and we don’t claim to be the best!  We know that each church has it’s own character and personality.  We all have our quirks and our perks.  When you are looking for a church that is right for you, you may looking for those quirks and perks, asking yourself the question:  Can I live with this and can I live without that?   However, there is something more important than the personality of a church and what it offers.  That is the church’s foundation.  The Bible talks about this foundation in Luke 6, in the story comparing the man who chooses to build a house on the rock and the man who builds on the sand.  Jesus is that Rock.  At MBC, we believe this so strongly that we have developed a Mission Statement and a Vision Statement to keep us focused on building on this Rock.  The sermons and studies all reflect the teachings of Jesus and the Word of God (the Bible).  We believe this is vitally important both in the church and in our individual lives so we strive to become more like Jesus in everything we do.

Please give us a try as you seek for fulfillment and purpose in your life.    Come join us on a Sunday morning:  coffee is served at 9:30 and service starts at 10.

We’d like to get to know you!

Communication Center:  (located in the lobby of the church)  Please stop by on a Sunday morning and ask for information about MBC.  We would love to chat and answer any questions you might have!   The people serving there each Sunday can also give you information on any upcoming events or ministries of the church.  For first time guests, there’s a free book– so be sure to fill in your Communication Card on Sunday and pick up your free book!

Newcomers Lunch:  Held at the church periodically.  Watch for the announcements.   This lunch is a great way for you to learn a little more about MBC and meet our Leadership Team.

Office Hours:  Tuesday to Friday: 9 – 4:30 (closed over lunch):  Please drop by anytime.  We love to stop for a coffee and a chat!   And we would love to get to know you and answer any questions you might have about MBC, so please stop by.

Come have your morning coffee with friends!

Cafe 77 is our delightful coffee bar in the lobby of MBC where each Sunday morning we serve fair trade coffee or teas and delicious (usually homemade) snacks beside the comfy couches and the fireplace.  Everyone enjoys a good cup of coffee or tea to help wake up especially when it’s accompanied by a friendly chat with new and old friends.   This complimentary service is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., a half hour before the morning service.

Cafe 77 is a great place to build relationships and make new friends… see you there!

Mom2mom is a weekly meeting for young moms with babies and/or young children.  They meet each Wednesday morning during the school year to share experiences, build friendships, laugh & pray and study the Bible together.   It is a helpful, encouraging group who love to walk the mom journey together.  Community moms are welcome.

Advent : Martensville Baptist Church

Once we grasp this truth our lives and the lives of those we come into contact with can never be the same again. The light that the candles give remind us that Jesus called Himself, “the light of the world” (John 8:12). The three purple candles represent the royalty of Jesus as the Son of God and the King of our lives. We all know that there’s more to Advent and to Christmas itself than all of these secondary things.

Upcoming Events : Martensville Baptist Church
