The Shift Coaching methodology aligns with and supports the belief that strong leadership, both on an individual and team basis is the corner stone of any successful business

We recognize that such strength in leadership is a driver of employee engagement and thus business results. We provide an integrated approach to leadership development and team effectiveness through our managed holistic model which encompasses coaching, assessing, training and evaluative processes.

Shift offers leadership and team coaching to organizations. We augment our coaching with educational components to support both the leader and team development. We will customize our programs to meet your needs, including integration of your competency model and aligning the coaching program to your leadership training program.

Leadership coaching works directly with the individual leader being coached while the team coaching holds the relationship as the client, rather than the individuals involved.

The Primary Focus

Although you can address relationship issues in the leadership coaching program the primary focus is individual development. The focus of the team coaching is on the development of the team as a whole. It is not effective to do individual work within the team; it deprives the team from accessing information and creativity residing in the larger whole. The Leadership Coaching and Team Coaching programs are described in depth.

Shift has the ability to deliver additional educational components as required by the client. Our model allows for the smooth integration of content to support the need for continuous learning and development.

By working with the leaders and the team we harness a compounding effect on the organization. The end result is a comprehensive program, delivered in a managed yet flexible manner, using world class intellectual property delivered by talented senior coaches.

Managing a Coaching Program

Managing a coaching program is a major undertaking. It requires careful project management, clear metrics to track return on investments and progress, feedback systems, and staff and coach coordination.

Too often the burden of these programs fall onto human resources. This is neither effective nor realistic for most organizations.

Engagement Management is a key asset to working with Shift Coaching. Our track record of working alongside major organizations has enabled us to evolve coaching programs that fit into and support the growth of our clients without downloading costly operational overhead.
