Metal spinning, also known as spin forming, is a process where metal is formed onto a tool with a special type of roller. This often results in cold work-hardening, meaning stronger parts. In most cases, tooling can be made at a fraction of the cost of stamping. In some cases tooling can even be modified for parts that are in the prototype stage. Up to 96" in diameter we do it all:
Industrial Parts, Prototype Parts & Production Parts
• Hopper Dishes • Cones • Lids • Pots • Tank Heads • Lampshade Parts • Roof Vents • Hemispheres • Elliptical Heads • Semi-Elliptical Heads • ASME Heads • Flued, Flanged and Dished Heads
Contracting stainless steel parts to an inexperienced shop can lead to disaster. Some of our machinists have over 20 years of experience in the field and know how to work with difficult materials. Some of the metals we work with include: stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum and silver, just to name a few.
Our machinists and spinning specialists can take on a wide variety of jobs. Some of our services include: Tooling Manufacture, Circle Cutting, Machining, Hand-Spinning and Hydraulic Lathe Spinning
