Your private space and emenities

A private room - most with ensuites.
Three meals a day and snacks between.  You are also welcome to help yourself to fresh fruit, juices and homemade cookies at any time. 
Bedding and personal laundry done weekly for you.
Your room cleaned weekly or as required.
Telephone and television jacks are supplied in your room or you may use our phone and watch TV in the living room.
You are responsible for any extra charges, medical supplies m medications, special aides, toiletries, damages to the facility or equipment which beyond regular wear and tear. 

Personal Care

Staff will dispense medication for you using a blister pack system.  Or, you may handle your own medications. 
We have a lift in our bathtub to keep you safe.  You may operate the lift yourself or we will assist you in and out of the tub; help with washing your hair, washing and drying your back, etc 
We will cut your fingernails but will not cut toenails and suggest you engage the footcare nurse for that.
There is someone in this house 24 hours a day to assist you, however, we do not have an awake staff on at night.  An intercom system with a signaling device is in every room and will ring in our bedroom should anyone need to call us for help. 
You may bring your own towels, and we will also supply towels if needed.  We do have a few rooms set up with furniture you may use if necessary.


Wayne is an LPN with over 20 years experience at PGRH, Aimhi and the PG Correctional Center.  Lorna is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional who has worked with People with Disabilities and the Elderly for more than 30 years. Staff  has First Aide and Food Safe and many years experience working with people.   We are not a Nursing Home, but an Assisted Living Home.   We will encourage you to be as independent as possible, but will also help you when you need help.  We have an RN Consultant who under doctors ordered will arrange dressing changes, blood pressure and blood sugars.  We are trained to provide insulin injections. 

The Mobile Labe comes to take blood samples weekly should you require this service.  We can also arrage to have a Home Care nurse come to our home should you require the services of a nurse, other than the services mentioned above.

We have been providing residential care services to seniors for more than 15 years.  We have impeccable references and would be glad to share them with you should you be interested.

Entrance Criteria

Under the Assisted Living Regulations, we are able to accept only those able to "direct their own care".  Or, in the case of a couple, one must be able to direct his or her own care and that of their spouse.  We are not wheelchair accessible.

Monthly Fees 

The current rate is $1,850 a month - couples are welcome and the fee is negotiated taking into account a possible shared bedroom and care needs.


We have met and continue to meet all Standards set out by the Assisted  Living Registrar of BC.  The Health Inspector for Northern Health  annually inspects our facility for cleanliness; checks our food prep procedures, etc  Our menus have been approved by a registered dietitian; the Fire Departments inspects our home annually. We continue to meet and exceed all requirements.
