Risk Assessment

Data collected during the site characterization phase can be analyzed using a risk assessment techniques to determine whether or not the contaminants present at a site might pose an unacceptable risk to the environment or to people.

Risk assessments also provide an ideal means to assess the costs vs potential benefits of site remediation as it enables benefits of alternative remediation strategies to be explicitly quantified through reduction in level of risk. This information in turn can be applied directly by those managing contaminated sites to make effective decisions regarding site remediation.

Redlog can provide a multi-disciplinary team of experienced scientists and engineers to carry out environmental and human health risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
