This summer has been soooooo busy for our household. I went back to my job as a nurse part-time, my husband and two children both celebrated their birthdays. My dad and step-mother were here for a visit, and I was extreamly busy with weddings. I have to admit I have neglected this blog, but hope to change that in the near future. With that being said I would like to share with you some of my favorite memories from some of my summer weddings. It may not be normal for the photographer to tear up while working, but I couldn’t help it! It happens every time!!

Welcome to my new blog site, I hope you like what you see. As a photographer I love looking at other people’s blogs. I enjoy getting to know the personal side of the camera. If I was choosing a photographer I would want to know the person who I am trusting my most intimate moments and memories with. This is why I chose to change from my website to a blog site. I will be blogging regularly about my life, my photo sessions, new projects that I am working on, and of course providing sneak peeks for my clients. This is the place where you can come and get to know me, contact me, find out about your investment, see my work, and {hopefully} have a good laugh. I would love it if you leave me a comment from time to time. Its a learning process for me, so bare with me and thank-you for joining me on this journey.

Since this is about all things new, I will leave you with a photo I took of my son.

He turned one this week. He has been a huge inspiration for me in the past year of my photography journey. I did his cake smash for him on his birthday, and once he got his first taste of cake there was no turning back. Happy Birthday to my little man Adam xoxo

Shelley and I discussed the importance of why we wanted to do this….here is her story… {followed by a photo of her amazing family. A little idea that was dreamed up on a cold winter day last winter, turned into such a fun {and sweet} event. Last spring my friend Shelley and I were talking a lot about organizing a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. I did however have a shoot planned since last fall with a really great friend of mine.
