Women's Cardio Kickboxing Boot Camp
This program began 2005 as a way of getting more women to participate in martial arts as a way of improving and maintaining a healthy lifesytle. It was the world's first and original Women's kickboxing class conducted in a boot camp format. The classes had it's humble beginnings in a pilates studio in Burnaby. Shortly afterwards the reputation of being a fun, safe, and welcoming boot camp had quickly spread through word of mouth. As a result Vancouver classes were added to meet the demands of our growing clientle.
The boot camp is made up of 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks. During this time you will learn how to punch and kick your way to a new healthy you. We are a non competitive class offering lots of drills to keep you motivated and safe.
Women's Cardio MMA (Quick Fit Female 30 minute Cardio MMA Boot Camp)
The idea was conceived in 2006. With the growing popularity of UFC and mixed martial arts among men it was only a matter of time before women became fans of the fastest growing sport in the world. Knowing full well that the majority of the women have no intention of ever getting into the ring Raz came up with the world's first cardio MMA boot camp for women called Quick Fit Female. At the time the sport was still growing and he decided to wait until the time was right to launch the program. This came in 2011 when the first classes were held to a receptive crowd.
The class consists of circuit training which changes with each class. Not satisfied at running a self-serve circuit class he and the trainers stress the importance of being involved with the clients. Working along side with them implementing the most up to date MMA drills.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Private Lessons
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or more commonly referred to as BJJ took the world by storm in UFC 1 when a small man by the name of Royce Gracie defeated larger opponents using leverage and superior techniques.
Today it is practiced by people all over the world for self-defense and exercise. BJJ has also formed the foundation for modern day MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). However you do not have to be an MMA fighter or BJJ competitor to learn this cerebral martial art. It is a very good way to get into shape and learn how to defend yourself at the same time.
This is perfect for anyone interested in improving their game or just want to learn the art in a private format.
Personal Self-Defense Training
As your Personal Trainer, I will be offering support, motivation and safe, effective instruction. After the initial interview and health screening I will help you establish challenging yet attainable goals and strategize a result oriented plan of action. Your program will be specific and unique to your preferences, abilities and availability. Periodic reassessments of the techniques you learned will ensure effective progression. As your Personal Trainer I will act as your coach and counselor offering support, motivation and safe, effective instruction.
Corporate Fitness Classes
Cardio Kickboxing: This is a fun filled program to get you fit in no time. Kickboxing is one of the best ways to shed the extra pounds and look lean and mean. In a non-competitive environment, I will put you through the training that a regular kickboxer or mma fighter goes through without the worry of being hit. The workout will consist of focus pad work, medicine ball work, calisthenics, and skipping.
