We offer race timing services. This consists of some or all of the following tasks, as required by the race organisers:
Consult with race organisers regarding the race specifics such as registration, awards and prizes, reports required, and start and finish areas.
Process the race entry forms, and handle and reconcile the entry fees.
Process day-of-race entries.
Help oversee the finish line area on the day-of-race, and give instructions to the finish area workers.
Process the race results at the finish line area.
Provide entry lists, announcers reports, results reports, category awards reports and random draw prize reports according to race director's specifications.
Provide electronic copies of results. Post results at our website and/or provide links to results at your site.
Timing Methods : We use a Chronomix printing timer to time races. The Chronomix is a specialised timing device, that times to the 100th's of a second, keeps a printed record of the times, and feeds them through to the results computer. It can handle up to three finish chutes. We require race organisers to use bib numbers with tear-off tags. These are collected at the end of the finish chute in order to match a runner with a time. It also means we have physical back-up of the finishing order of the runners.
