In this first edition of QuinteLive’s Cool 100 Things to Do, we visited the Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co. in Prince Edward County to find out what goes into making some of the finest cheese available in the area. Fifth Town welcomes people to check out their environmentally friendly operations, taste samples of their product.


Theatre —

Good, an 11-year-old from Belleville, and Zimmerman, who lives in Prince Edward County, are staring in the Moonpath Productions presentation of The Wizard of Oz, which opens. There’s no place like home for Dorothy, the lead character in The Wizard of Oz, and you can say the same for local actors Emma Good and Rick Zimmerman.


Live Music —

The Bull & Boar restaurant in Belleville is hosting the Philanthroparty, a fund raiser for Habitat for Humanity, tonight starting at 5:00 p.m. Ottawa rockers Down in Ashes, who have played in Belleville several times recently including RibFest in August, are headlining the night.


Sports —

That’s how the Belleville Bulls spent their weekend, concluding with a convincing 4-1 win over the Oshawa Generals in a Sunday afternoon matinee. Despite having their third game in four days, the Bulls played one of the more complete, 60-minutes of hockey.
