Our Fiber Optic Network EXpertise has evolved from the simple delivery of broadband services extensions over fiber optic media to encompass Ethernet Services demarcation, SLA monitoring and enforcement as well as Carrier Ethernet Services over any medium. FONEX has been providing Ethernet MAN/WAN solutions to the Carrier segment since 1989 through all phases of Ethernet services evolution: dedicated fiber, Ethernet over ATM core, Ethernet over RPR core, Ethernet over MPLS core, Ethernet over TDM and Ethernet over xDSL, including link bonded configurations. FONEX is uniquely qualified to understand the Ethernet services delivery issues and challenges faced by Service Providers and to be a trusted supplier partner to address them effectively.

The company focuses on Access Network convergence opportunities and Carrier Ethernet Services enablement over a whole spectrum of transport technologies, notably dedicated fiber optic facilities, dedicated CWDM/DWDM wavelengths, TDM/SONET services, xDSL access or fixed wireless access.

With over 20 years of experience with technologies that enable native layer 2 Ethernet transport in the wide area network (WAN), we have participated with our equipment manufacturer-partners to evolve their offerings to Carrier Ethernet grade equipment solutions by responding to the exacting requirements of our Carrier customers. Our solutions have been adopted by incumbent operators (ILECs) and competitive providers alike (CLECs) as well Cable Operators/ MSOs offering enterprise–class broadband Ethernet services.

Upon purchasing any products from FONEX, customers are automatically entitled to the Basic Support program throughout the original manufacturer’s warranty period. Our loyalty to our customers demands that we be flexible and adapt our services to our customers’ support and on-going supply requirements. Our Basic Support program provides for technical assistance 5 days per week, 8:30am to 5pm EST and Warranty Administration services.
