What Is It?

Bill 168 is an amendment to the occupational Health and Safety Act which becomes effective June 15, 2010 and affects all employers or businesses with five or more employees.


It is important because it requires businesses to have policies training and programs dealing with workplace violence and harassment in place. Failure to comply may involve fines penalties and jail for those found not to be in compliance.
