Beer « So Many Things To Do

Monday evening I was invited to the launch of a new beer. Magnum Daisy is the name of the bitter beverage named after the Quebec Rock n’ Roll band… drum roll… Magnum Daisy! Oh, a hand is rising in the back of the classroom… “What is the name of the band again sir?” Magnum Daisy… I just said it ! Student these days…

Magnum Daisy, the beer, not the band, is a blond beer. Well, it is more than ok, actually, it’s a pretty good. A cool bitterness that gives a refreshing feeling in the throat…
The people gathered Monday at Kay Production office seemed to have enjoyed their sparkling and bitter ride, even though, and I really have no explanation for that, a lot of people there actually were drinking wine! Well… of course ! Let’s go to this new beer launch monday and have a glass of… wine! Hey honey, why not going to this very trendy sushi bar tomorrow night and have a huge bloody japanese steak? Honey? Why are you leaving the house with your suitcase?

As if the almighty God of beer was paying attention to that reunion, we all witnessed the manifestation of His incredible power. Here is the story, nothing but the truth. One of the members of Magnum Daisy was talking to another member of the band while drinking a glass of wine. And you know what happened? No ! said the kid at the end of the classroom died of insolence five minutes ago. Well, the glass simply fell on the floor in a loud high-pitched noise.

God of beer: 1 – God of wine: 0

What is to remember ? This Magnum Daisy beer is great, and the Magnum Daisy Band too but has a propensity for breaking glasses.

As for me, I went to the bar, smiled to the cowgirl/barmaid and asked for a Mojito. Do you know why a mojito? Easy one: God of Mojito never loses a glass fight !

Absurd humor, puns, stupid games, even more stupid games, four-words crossword about winter, nonsense… 48 pages of this kind of craziness I personally like a lot. Pascal Henrard and François Turcotte have imagined solutions to make you feel better about that sad period of the year. The other one is another guide that will help people to survive their family. Petit guide pour survivre à l’hiver” is the name of this medicine.
