You can have all the “threshold watts/power” in the world, but if you are afraid to go around gentle corners you will not be able to express your fitness well on a bike–and you’ll be riding with fear! TTS believes that the key to getting more fit and having more fun on your bike is to learn how to better apply your current level of riding to a variety of common riding scenarios: hills, descending, cornering, small group riding. We want to help you become a better bike rider. Towards that end, we offer outdoor training to both individuals and groups.

Starting May 2nd, TTS will offer coached, outdoor group training rides throughout the week. The workouts last one hour. Sign up for a time slot that suits your schedule and we’ll pair you with 4-5 other riders of equal ability. You’ll do group exercises in a safe, coached context involving a variety of riding scenarios, including pacelines, hills, bike handling… Last year, these were a huge success in part because they provided riders with a chance to meet other riders with whom to train at other times during the week!!

We offer individual and one-on-two coaching to clients with specific goals in mind. Our coaches have helped racers prep for National Championships and recreational riders get more comfortable descending so they could then join group rides.

Winter Cycling Training and spinning classes

Our small group format allows us to tailor workouts for individual class members who are coming back from illness, holidays, etc. Toguri Training offers a personalized training experience by keeping the class size to a maximum of six riders. Our clients include racers, recreational riders and those who want to supplement their weekly spin classes. The Winter 2012 Indoor Session begins January 9, will run for 14 weeks and end April 13th.

Our clients initiated the RocklandMD racing team, coached by TTS, which assists developing Cat 1 riders, and provides teams for Masters riders to race… and they keep winning medals.
