Proprius Inspection Architecture
Proprius Inspection products serve as the mediating link between the current IT infrastructure and the actual property. A closer look at the typical current IT infrastructure in the property management business would reveal (see diagram below) that at the base of the pyramid we can find ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, and SAP that would typically serve the whole organization and may assist the property manager in some aspects that impact the core business of the organization.
Current property management IT Infrastructure
On top of the ERP system, the property manager will use the desktop applications such as EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) or the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for the day-to-day property management. Any current update of the EAM or the CMMS systems usually performed manually. The personnel working on the field would use paper forms to follow inspection procedures and to record observations and deficiencies. Pagers, cellular phones, and walky-talky devices are used to spread the information about the current inspection status of the property.
