Reggae singer Jamie Irie was raised in the multi-cultural heart of Gloucester, England. Growing up, Irie listened to Big Youth, Tappa Zukie and the Mighty Diamonds, as well as his friends Daddy Freddy, Tenorfly, and Sir Coxson HIFI, who all influenced him and helped to grow his love of Jamaican dancehall and Reggae music.
In 2010, Jamie Irie teamed-up with RCola in 2010 and together they performed as “Irie Cola” all over Europe, showcasing Irie’s original reggae songs and RCola’s jungle productions on the live stage; notably smashing it as headliners at Zverafest in Latvia and the Boomtown Fair in England.
