Similar to your DSL connection at home however connected to business grade equipment (PE router) at the Central Office. This type of connection is primarily used to connect branch offices or retail stores and even teleworkers. This private and secure circuit can provide:

  • 1.5mbps to 4Mbps of asymmetrical bandwidth

Most feature rich option. The local loop, or “last mile” runs on a dedicated copper or fiber-optic circuit depending on the bandwidth required. The dedicated circuit is most commonly used for connectivity at the head office, disaster recovery sites and larger branch offices requiring large scale and symmetrical bandwidth.
