The seal water control panel is designed to regulate the flow and pressure of water supply to the seal.
Water is injected into the seal at a higher pressure than the turbine pressure. A pressure differential must be kept at all times.

A High Signal Magnetic Flow meter System designed to handle difficult high-noise application while maintaining the benefits of dc technology. It provides remote-mounting capabilities for installation where it is impractical for integrally mounted configurations. It is possible to interrogate or reconfigure the transmitter without visiting the instrument site.
The Pressure Regulator is a compact self-operated pressure regulator that uses spring force to maintain a differential pressure between the seal and the turbine.
Two Pressure Gauges are included; one gauge indicates the pressure under the seal and the other gauge indicates the pressure inside the seal.
The Vent allows the pressure regulator to work in the event of a vacuum condition.
Only stainless steel piping is used. The unit is also equipped with a configuration to by-pass the regulator.
The support plate is made from painted steel or stainless steel.
