Now EU Certified Type C LEDS!

Optosecurity’s flagship product, the XMS®  Threat Detection Software Suite is a unique software product developed to complement X-ray imaging systems with automated threat detection. XMS evolves the common checkpoint X-ray equipment of today into a precise automated threat detection system.

A EU Certified Type C LEDS, the XMS detects explosive liquids and other liquid threats, bottles and firearms inadvertently or purposely left in cabin baggage.  XMS addresses the challenges of today’s checkpoints: identifying liquid threats in bottles ranging from sub 100 ml (3 oz) up to 2 L with no container shape or material restrictions to allow virtually any size of containers for X-ray examination at the checkpoint.

The XMS Suite provides much needed immediate assistance in the detection of contemporary threats at checkpoints. XMS software complements screeners’ work by providing visual indications of potential threats presence and location.  XMS enables a reliable and consistent automated processing of items and containers, in real-time, with no secondary processes to slow throughput and no changes to the existing checkpoint layout or protocol.

The XMS Suite is available embedded in multi-view platforms of leading manufacturers to further enhance the performance of such multi-view systems. A sophisticated technology, the XMS also empowers the standalone EU Certified Type C LEDS OptoScreener® — a powerful yet low footprint workstation connected to single view platforms and to new multi-view systems to further enhance their detection performance combined with an LCD touch screen.

The third component is the remote screening room where image analysis and command control are executed by security screeners grouped together to proceed with X-ray image analysis and decision via a queue manager, on a first in - first out based-model.

Product Overview | Optosecurity

While complementing the screeners’ work, these automated solutions enable a reliable processing of items or persons, in real-time, with no secondary processes to slow throughput. All Optosecurity products aim to improve the overall safety and the operational efficiency at security checkpoints while maintaining cost efficiency.

PICASO | Optosecurity

PICASO software is based on 3D computer vision and contextual visual analysis and is being designed to improve the next generation automation capability body scanners. Optosecurity has begun a development effort to integrate its core XMS technologies into AIT portals to provide automated threat detection for personal screening.
