Magnetic Systems

THE MAGNETIC SAFETY FEATURE
The rubber moulded magnetic release fixture is designed to hold the Super Base securely in position while players are running over or pushing off of the base. However, a player sliding heavily into the base can create sufficient force to dislodge the base from the magnetic fixture, thereby absorbing the impact and reducing the risk of serious injury. The break force can be varied for two junior levels and one adult level. This allows just one system to be used with all age/weight levels.

The following systems are recommended for leagues that slide into bases. Magnetic release bases for 2nd and 3rd base.

3 rubber moulded Super Bases, Model #102, 2 magnetic fixtures with shear plates and hardware

1 Super-D rubber moulded Double Safe 1st- Base Model #201, 2 rubber moulded Super Bases, Model #102, 2 magnetic fixtures with shear plates and hardware

In-Ground Systems

Our system is compatible with most other in-ground systems. If you do not have existing in-ground sockets, or need extra base alignments (different age-groups/ leagues use different running distances,) add system "J” or “K” accordingly

Magnetic Brea Warning: Be advised that sliding into a baseball/softball base represents a clear and present danger. Injury may occur. All players should be informed of the risks inherent in this sports activity.  kaway Base, Breakaway Baseball Base, Break-away baseball base
