Skill Enhancement Pre-employment Health & Safety Equipment Training
WETF will work with businesses and individuals looking to acquire training programs that will help prepare them with the Essential Skills to be safe and stay healthy while working in their careers. Professional training is provided in a wide range of programs relating to Occupational, Health & Safety Training, and Safe Equipment usage in the workplace.
Our goals and focus is to minimize preventable workplace incidents with training programs that will educate the participants and give them the skills to recognize all potential hazards associated with in their workplace. Training will help ensure that competent and knowledgeable people are working or entering into the workplace with all the skills they need. WETF will also offer Safety Training Programs for the do-it-yourself homeowners and focus on the rental industries and superstores that sell and rent equipment to the public.
Training covers a wide variety of topics that give our students the knowledge and essential skills to prepare them for employment in a safe working environment. Course titles range from WHMIS, PPE, Lockout, TDG, First Aid-CPR, Ergonomics, Fall Prevention, Occupational Hygiene in the work place, O H & S A Legislation - Rights and Responsibilities, Equipment training programs - Hand Tools, Chain Saw, Industrial & Construction Forklifts, T L Backhoe, over 70 Programs. These courses will prepare workers to be Health & Safety conscious for the unexpected incidents that could happen at work or otherwise be overlooked in the workplace by the employers training.
Programs are designed to be flexible in timing, work schedule, location & content of the training material. The courses can be delivered at Windsor Equipment Training Facility or at various locations across Canada and USA. Training can be customized to reflect the work environment of the employer and will comply with Ministry standards.
The employers are responsible for training workers before they start their job or use any type of equipment and must ensure that the training is adequate; they should review and comply with Ministries requirements on the equipment to be used. This means the training is Site, Process, and Hazard-Specific.
