The Health Services offers University of Toronto students the same services as a family doctor’s office, and more. They provide confidential, student-centered health care, including comprehensive medical care, travel medicine and education, immunization, and referrals for specialized treatment.

Health and Dental Plans

As a student of the University of Toronto you are automatically enrolled with the Health & Dental Plan provided by the U.T.S.U. and underwritten by Greenshield Canada. You should receive a benefits guide by mail, or check out their website linked below for more details and information.

Opting Out
Some students may already have sufficient coverage from their parents, and do not require this service. As this is recognized, you have the option of opting out of either one or both of these plans at the beginning of the fiscal year. More information should be expected via email, or contact [email protected] for inquiries.

Counselling and Psychological Services

Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers students short-term individual counselling, psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, group therapy, workshops, and psychiatric medication services.

The interprofessional team offers assessment, treatment and referrals for a wide range of emotional and psychological problems. Services provided include:

  • Individual psychotherapy
  • Assault Counselling
  • Pharmacotherapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Consultation
  • Workshops

Being a University of Toronto Engineering student can certainly be expensive, so the kind folks over at TTC now offer a Post-Secondary Student Pass to help save you money. Instructions to obtaining the form and dates for the next photo opportunity can be found on the U.T.S.U. Just remember that you need to have a valid Post-Secondary Student Photo ID to buy your Student Pass.


Getting to know your campus

This mobile-friendly, Google-based, layered map integrates and replaces the multiple versions of online campus maps that each featured different aspects and services at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus. Academic Services | Skule

The Office of the Registrar works with program departments within the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering in undergraduate Engineering student matters, or anything pertaining to your student record. The Repository of Student Information contains data relating to your admission and academic performance at the University of Toronto.


Career Services | Skule

The purpose of the Career Centre is to equip students and recent graduates with knowledge and skills they will need to make informed career decisions and employ effective work search techniques. By participating in Career Centre activities, participants will be able to act more purposefully in pursuing their own career development and in establishing and managing their careers.
