This has been a favourite of mine for years – a different spin to typical toast & peanut butter and a healthier alternative to traditional waffles & syrup

- Whole Grain Pancake & Waffle Mix
*can use frozen whole grain waffles if really on a time-crunch
- 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Make waffles as per package instructions. Spread peanut butter on top and then drizzle with maple syrup. Top with blueberries. Enjoy with glass of milk for a complete and balanced breakfast.

Fun for Kids – cut waffles into shapes using cookie cutters, spread with peanut butter, drizzle with syrup and then secure a slice of strawberry or banana on top with a toothpick.

Time Saving Tip: Make a big batch of waffles in advance and freeze them – makes for a quick toaster fix on busy mornings.
