According to Taoism, chi is the basic life force that animates the universe. Hence, a concern in Chinese medicine is the degree of this life force flow in a person's body. There are many ways of accessing and stimulating the life force energy to achieve balance. Below is a list of services we provide to help you attain your optimal health!

Acupuncture

This is the art and science of inserting ultra fine needles into specific points along meridians or channels. There are also extra points outside of the 14 meridians. The needles stimulate the point energetically and clears blockages that may have resulted into a physical manifestation.

Acupressure Massage

This type of massage access the points along the meridian through physical manipulation of the hands. Don't worry, there are no needles here!

Lymph System Massage

This type of massage uses moxibustion, a wand of mugwart plant that is burned to create a very focus heat source. It is applied close to the skin along the lymph system. This in turn releases stagnation and allow drainage to occur. It is extremely relaxing.

Shiatsu Deep Tissue Massage

Shiatsu is a unique, non-invasive finger pressure therapy designed to stimulate the body's inherent ability to heal itself. Depending on what your body needs, your lymphatic, immune, digestive and other systems may be detoxified or balanced. Shiatsu is ideal for releasing muscle tension and body aches caused by physical work, strenuous exercise or a stressful day at work. During the treatment you will experience a deep relaxation and rejuvenation, followed by a boost in personal power and performance the next day.

Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine uses herbs for preventative treatment as well as treating illness. Each prescription is customized according to the patient's constitution as well as the nature of the herbs.

Spine & Pelvis Alignment

Daily activity can cause your spine and pelvis to misalign. Sometimes your body need to be put right back on track. Unaligned spine or pelvis can cause unnecessary pressure and pain in areas of the body.

Heat Therapy

Moxibustion is a technique that applies external heat above the skin over a meridian by a burning wick made from herbs (mugwort plant). It is used where the part of the body has become cold. This coldness is often felt as pain. However, when the area is warmed, the pain subsides and comfort is retained. This can be applied with acupuncture treatment to stimulate points that will restore the natural warming yang energies of the body.

Cupping

The use of cupping pulls tissue upward to stimulate energy in the area. These cups can be moved along a meridian or where there is tension in the muscles. The cup is first heated to cause a vacuum and applied to the skin. The amount of dark red that is drawn to the surface indicates the degree of stagnation, which may also indicate the amount of toxins in the blood. It is particularly good on back and shoulders, arthritic pain, abdominal and stomach ache, indigestion, headache, hypertension, cough and the common cold, low back pain, menstruation cramps, insect and snake bites.

Feng Shui Reading

This is the practice of placing objects facing certain directions to allow for a happy energetic flow in a living environment. It incorporates the five elements of fire, earth, metal, water, and wood as well as the balance of the yin and yang energies to bring peace and harmony.

Reiki Energy Healing

This is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, which in turn promotes healing. This is done through a practitioner who acts as a channel for universal life force energy and directed through the laying of hands. These relaxing and refreshing treatments release stagnation of energy and introduces clarity and free flow of energy. Reiki treats the person as a whole, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects. Find your inner peace, security, and wellbeing now.

Hypnosis

Be guided to the theta state, where the subconscious mind emerges and explore the inner workings of the mind. Positive suggestions discussed in advanced are fed to the subconscious mind for immediate positive changes. Hypnosis can also be used to discover the root causes of issues and works wonderfully with emotions and relationships.
