When working outside, we excavate all the way down to the footing. The weeping tile is then inspected. If it's clean then it's clean around the house. If the weeping tiles are a bit dirty or plugged we replace the weeping tile only in the area that it excavated. If there is a window in the area, or a window well,  then we install a weeping tile vertically We then clean the wall and inspect any cracks. Since cracks tend to expand, we chip out the cracks and reseal it with Hydrolic Cement. We then put a 3 layered waterproofing system. The first layer is a liquid rubber. Second layer is a reinforced fiberglass mesh which will give strength to the liquid rubber. The third layer is a dimpled membrane that will prevent water penetrating the wall. We then cover the weeping tile with gravel and back fill the dirt.
