Requirements Gathering

By: Pinched Head  09-12-2011

We believe eLearning initiatives should have the same rigor and control as successful software projects, and that requirements gathering is fundamental to this success.

Using industry best practices, we can lead a session with your team to define the initial scope and requirements for the eLearning project. We will then translate these requirements into a specification and a prototype that you can use to build (or have us build) your solution.

What is involved:
  1. Initial Meeting with your Training Lead and Sponsor

  2. Scoping Meeting with Main Stakeholders

  3. Preparation of High-level Requirements Document

  4. Preparation of Specifications

  5. Preparation of User Interface Prototype

  6. Deliverable Review

What we deliver:
  • High-level Requirements Document

  • Functional Specification Document

  • Simple User Interface Prototype

Content Development

Most of us have sat through courses that teach us how to use business software that is central to our jobs only to find that we still don't know how to use it to do our jobs. We do ADDIE with a twist by including rapid prototyping as part of the design phase and doing a limited pilot before making the material available to all users.
