Psyllium can be used to reduce cholesterol absorption, lessen the frequency of hemorrhoids and hiatal hernias, reduce constipation and reduce intestinal disease.
Suggested dosage for adults
3 to 6 capsules per day with juice or water, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
Plenty of water should be consumed with psyllium or water will be drawn out of the body tissues. If one is already constipated, taking psyllium without water could worsen the condition. Psyllium may irritate an already inflamed colon. We recommend soothing the colon with I-B Eaze before taking psyllium if there is an existing irritable bowel condition.
