Ian’s work focuses on broad-based involvement with clients and community as he seeks to improve public space through painted murals, lighting effects, facade improvements, signage, and other forms post-architectural design.
Community projects involving mural creation, street art, and graffiti have often been used to beautify space, bring people together, and communicate a social message. Ian Mulder has worked with many community organizations in the production of community murals, workshops, other forms of community development through art. Much of his community outreach involves public workshops, lectures, and in-school residencies.
