Mission Hills Capital Partners China Fund One Limited Partnership ("Fund One")
Fund One is a private Canadian domiciled limited partnership investment vehicle established in 2008 by MHCP to provide investors with access to a range of private equity and other high growth alternative investments focused on privately owned Chinese enterprises involved in renewable power generation, financial services, transportation equipment, infrastructure and related manufacturing and other industries principally serving the domestic Chinese market. Fund One invests and provides partners with co-investment opportunities in private Chinese enterprises. Fund One’s objective is to benefit from China's continuing rapid domestic economic expansion through the capital appreciation of equity, equity-related and mezzanine debt investments.
Both international and domestic exit strategies are considered for Fund One investments. Fund One’s initial investment is in Meize Energy Industries Holding Co. Ltd., a Hong Kong company, which owns a 100% interest in a Chinese manufacturer of high capacity wind blades. Meize Energy is financed by an international investor syndicate and structured to facilitate an international IPO or alternative exit strategy. Fund One has also committed to an investment in Wolwo Bio-Pharmaceutical Ltd, a leading Chinese producer of therapeutic and diagnostic allergy products. In contrast to Meize Energy, Wolwo is being financed principally by Chinese domiciled investors and structured to permit its application to pursue a domestic IPO or alternative exit strategy.
