You and your guests can take in exciting cooking demonstrations and learn up-close from chef John or simply relax and let him prepare a magnificent gourmet meal exactly as you wish. Unique canapés and cocktails, a three to five course menu, wine selections, guest accouterments and additional services can be customized to your every specification—or give us the guidelines and we’ll do the rest!

Succulent BBQ Chicken Skewers

Chef John Hardy has designed a structured ninety-minute cooking class series guaranteed to improve your dexterity in the kitchen. Teaching one to ten students at a time, the Chef will apply his proven teaching methods to your area of culinary interest. Learning to cook one main and two side dishes at each lesson, students will rapidly gain the ability to prepare entire gourmet meals with ease and alacrity. Summertime outdoor grilling seminars are also a favorite for anyone wishing to master the ways of the barbecue.

Choice and variety are our mainstays

Hardy Foods uses only the freshest, locally grown and organic ingredients, sourced from select growers and suppliers of the highest quality.

This menu utilized as many local resources and homemade meal solutions as possible: Ontario peaches, strawberries, blueberries, and asparagus were all in season and readily available from local markets. The sides included tossed Salad, Cornbread, Mashed Potatoes, potato salad, and a peach cobbler to finish it off. The three meals prepared at Hart House Farm were inspired by the rustic influences of the countryside.
