Training and Education: Dr. Mazzarella’s academic training includes over 120 continuing medical education courses in pain management through several universities including: John Hopkins University Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Mazzarella has obtained a Diplomate with the American Academy of Pain Management and the Canadian Academy of Pain Management. Lastly, Dr. Mazzarella has a certification in Traumatic Pain Management through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Clinically, Dr. Mazzarella has treated over 6,000 patients dealing with both acute and chronic pain, as well as preformed approximately 1,500 chronic pain independent medical assessments to date.
