The Lancaster depicted in this piece, EQ-C, was actually commanded by Wilbert Timmins and was tragically shot down on the night of January 14th 1944 by night fighters. With four engines and a multitude of gun turrets it was one of the most successful bombers of its time. The Lancaster was a powerful heavy bomber for the Royal Air Force in World War II. 11"x14" image- Frame Size- 13"x16.



The Spitfire was customized several times to improve its performance in battle, shoot down V-1 flying bombs, and even was available to be customized for reconaissance. This iconic fighter of World War II of the British Royal Air Force proudly defended England against the German Luftwaffe.
