The Counseling and Psychoeducational Clinic of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT) exists to provide services to clients and to support the professional training of graduate students in clinical and counseling psychology. The Clinic provides psychological assessment, counseling, and psychotherapy services to adults and older adolescents for personal social emotional and academic concerns. Available services vary depending on the OISE/UT academic schedule; therefore, not all services are available at all times throughout the year. Services are provided by graduate students under the supervision of psychologists who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. In some cases, services may be provided by faculty members who are registered psychologists. Services are provided at low cost, with flexible payment plans and a sliding scale fee designed with clients' needs in mind.

It is possible that clients may feel anxious about being “tested”; however, clinicians are trained to detect and respond sensitively to indications of anxiety. Psychological assessment typically presents a relatively low risk to participants.
