The Bose® Experience

It started in March 2002 with a phone call..from a customer who was looking to buy a Bose Wave Radio. We didn’t carry it; in fact nobody carried it in Canada, and that didn’t make sense. In the USA, Bose had always marketed many of their premium products exclusively through their own stores. In Canada they had no distribution at all. 

So we made a phone call of our own, to Bose, and expressed our willingness to explore the possibility of a partnership to bring these incredible products to Canada.

After several project feasibility meetings, we discovered that many of the business principles which governed Bose, were also critical to Bay Bloor Radio. We decided to proceed with the project, and in June 2002, we opened Canada’s First Bose Store on our upper level. We’re glad we did. 

Under the direction of Meriel Elkhoury, our Bose Experience has become a big success for Bose, for BBR, and for our customers.
