Oct. 17th, 2:00pm (Sidney Smith, Political Science Lounge – Third Floor): Immediately after POL101, elections will be held in order to fill the position of first year representative on the APSS Exec.  The representative must be currently enrolled in POL101 and should be able to attend weekly meetings on Tuesdays at noon.  Responsibilities include contributing to the work of the Exec and making regular announcements in POL101 regarding events sponsored by the APSS. Oct. 20th, 7:00pm (George Ignatieff Theatre): ‘What Happened? Exploring the impact of the media on the 2011 Ontario Election.’ Panelists will include journalist Bob Hepburn, strategist Robin Sears, professor Nelson Wiseman and pollster John Wright.
