To Parents, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles:

Do you remember when life wasn’t such a balancing act? When summers were long and carefree? When you hung out with your buddies at the swimming hole, took nature walks, enjoyed the friendly competition of outdoor games or made wonderful “objects d’art” from old bits of junk. You might have joined in songs around the campfire and maybe even played innocent pranks on the counselors?

Memories like these really enrich our adult lives. Today’s kids need to be building those memories now and you could help them do that by sending one (or more) to Agricola Children’s Camp. The one-week camp is held annually, usually the week after elementary school ends at Agricola’s Bible Camp site in Marmora, Ontario. The cost is $125 for one child and only $100 for the second child from the same family – such a deal!!! And the children you love will be learning about God’s word and growing spiritually.

A bus to Agricola Children’s Camp leaves from Agricola Lutheran Church on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and will returns on Fridayat approximately 5:00 p.m.

Rekindle that spark of childhood fun and innocence.

Moms and Tots

The idea was that the children would get exposed to other Finnish-speaking children and parents, and would also give a chance for moms to expose their children to Christian morals & lessons. It was started with just a handful of moms as a chance to get together with other mothers of Finnish descent who had children not yet attending school.

Youth Ministry

We have assembled a series of programs and activities to give young people a chance to participate in Church life, develop their own faith and spirituality, and discover new friendships. Our purpose of the program is to prepare young individuals for effective ministry to middle high, senior high, or college students and their families.

Sunday School

The bilingual Sunday School meets downstairs in the Sunday School room during the English Worship Service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children learn about the Bible in a fun and interactive environment with experienced teachers. Lessons consist of Bible stories, prayer, crafts and singing. Sunday School is intended for children over 3 years of age. Agricola has Sundays Schools on selected Sundays.
