Get to know your TBSO musicians up-close and personal in this unique concert!
Our musicians live day-in and day-out with the music they play. Over the years, certain pieces become part of their life story, like a good friend, or a rival! The musicians will perform some of their favorite solo pieces, accompanied by the full orchestra, and share with you the stories about what the music means to them.

Friday, February 3 & Saturday, February 4, 2012 • 8:00 p.m.
John Scaffeo, accordion
Come experience the glory of the accordion, as we sample music from around the globe with Thunder Bay’s own accordion virtuoso, John Scaffeo. We’ll sample favorite songs and dances from Italy, Finland, France, Hungary, the Ukraine, and more, all in our festive cabaret setting.

Friday, November 11 & Saturday, November 12, 2011 • 8:00 p.m.
Kim Erickson, mezzo-soprano
Join the TBSO and soulful singer, Kim Erickson, in this moving tribute to Canadian veterans. We’ll journey back to the stirring days of World War II with classics like La Vie en Rose and The White Cliffs of Dover, while honouring the dedication and sacrifice of Canadian veterans from all eras with heartfelt contemporary selections. This Remembrance Day won’t soon be forgotten.
