Probate

An application for “probate” (certificate of appointment of estate trustee with a will) is the process by which the validity of the will is established. Once the will and appointment of executor(s) are approved by the court, the executor could then distribute the assets in accordance with the deceased’s wishes. If there is no will, the court appoints the executor by application for a certificate of appointment of estate trustee without a will, so that the assets may be distributed in accordance with the law. Contact us if you have been named executor or if there is no will but you would like to be named executor. We can help make life a little bit easier in these difficult times.
