32-bit PCI Expansion Backplane

32-bit PCI Expansion Backplane

  • Supports live-insertion functionality
  • Overcurrent protection per each expansion slot
  • Easy access to the PCI JTAG signals
  • Supports easy plug-in of logic analyzer for analyzing PCI bus signals

The 32-bit PCI Expansion Baclpane was designed to support the development and debugging of PCI based peripheral boards. The PCI Expansion Backplane allows easy plug-ing access to PCI boards from both sides of the board, has per slot overcurrent protection and allows access to the PCI bus JTAG signals. By enabling access to the PCI bus JTAG signals, the PCI Expansion Backplane becomes a universal device that for supports production programming/loading FPGA/CPLD during production testing. In addition, all PCI signals can be easily verified by plugging an oscilloscope or logic analyzer into the PCI bus debug connector.
