Classes are offered in the evenings September to June.  Breck School specializes in Highland Dance, with an emphasis on technique and proper training for the traditional dances.

Classes are also offered focusing on theory, flexibility, choreography and strength work.

The competitive program is by invitation only.  Competitive dancers must take a minimum of 2 classes per week and must participate in the summer program.

Summer classes and summer school commence in July.  Summer school is a fantastic week of technique work, new dances, picnics, crafts, and fun!

Examinations are offered twice yearly under the BATD.

These tests are a great way for your child to see their progress and earn medals.

A year-end recital takes place every June for the dancers to show their accomplishments, their dances and their costumes. We have a Holiday Show in December where all dancers can participate in a fun and festive performance.

A Robbie Burns dinner is hosted by the Parent's Association every January.  The dancers can all be included in the fun and lively evening entertainment, following the dinner.

Dancers are encouraged to dance at community events, festivals, and retirement residences throughout the school year.

Breck School offers workshops to provide dancers with different styles and different teachers.

Movie nights and Holiday parties are a great way for the dancers to get together and enjoy their friends and their studio.

Lessons in bagpiping are offered and taught by Jarrod Purvis, member of the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band.  Please inquire.
