Our success is measured by the safety of our employees. An employee's input on safety is as important as their output in production. That's why DMI keeps communication lines open between oversight and operators to maintain an atmosphere of safety. DMI employees are encouraged to foster our culture of safety by finding smarter, safer ways to build better towers. This is why we've kept injuries under the industry average for four consecutive years. We may never be perfect, but we'll never stop trying to be. Because at the end of the day, who our employees see at the end of the day matters most.
We believe it's our responsibility to be a key supplier that serves with consistency - a consistency of process and results across all three of our plant locations. A culture of continuous improvement is at the core of DMI and it drives our working conditions and lean practices to consistently and efficiently conform to your tower specifications in our pursuit of optimizing process flow. We strive to repeat success with each project and achieve the same results time after time. Our long-standing certifications across many of our processes such as welding and non-destructive testing, as well as ISO certification since 2003, show our commitment to improvement. For DMI, improvement isn't about pushing buttons, it's about pushing ourselves.
DMI proudly supports the efforts of the American Wind Energy Association and the Canadian Wind Energy Association. By actively participating in these organizations, DMI seeks to generate a better understanding of wind energy and foster advances in the perception and capabilities of this clean, renewable energy. We are pleased to be a part of the organizations that believe strongly in the benefits of wind. Our corporate responsibility through service on Board of Directors, Leadership Council, and multiple forums demonstrates our commitment to the sustainability of the wind energy industry.
